Me gusta bastante el brillo que deja en la cara. Pero siento que ya no es sufieciente el SPF-15, sino un SPF-40, especialmente para las de pieles claras como la mía.

Nevertheless I actually didn't like it - it was too drying on my skin. But the package is perfect - as with all City Blocks:)

Why did they d/c this product?! I hate the City Block Spf 25 version, the tint is too dark, and it's greasy. The regular City Block SPF15 dried matte, and didn't have that dark foundation tint to it, it just made my pale skin glow! Oh, my tube just says City Block SPF15, not City Block *Sheer* Spf15. Maybe it's different? I am just gonna hope and pray Clinique brings this product back! I'm just gonna have to continue to hunt for it on eBay. Such a shame!

I like how they use titanium dioxide as the SPF factor thingy. I really do not like how it leaves my face a little shinier than I'd like it to be, but other than that, it's great and I like it a lot and would repurchase. :)

i like to be fair so to say that this product is the sole contriubter to one of the worst breakouts i have ever seen is probably not very accurate-BUT I can say that i had not changed my routine except for adding this product to my face from a sample given with a FGWP before a day out in the sun. When i squirted it out the oil had separated from the cream but i figured it was no biggie and still slathered it on anyway...next day biggest zits i have ever seen, very irritated, all over my cheeks (where i put the sunscreen)
i am so very disappointed with this product..i will stick to neutrogena sheer sunscreen for face and am glad i did not have to pay for this.

This is my tried-and-true daily sunblock/primer and has been for years. Since I'm on the fair side, I need a daily sunblock (SPF 15 in the winter, SPF 25 in the spring/summer) and since I have sensitive skin, I need something that's not going to make my skin unhappy. A little coverage would be nice too,

While this isn't anything flashy, it does the job nicely and consistently. It absorbs quickly and provides just a *touch* of coverage, but don't expect this to replace your foundation if you're looking to cover any blemishes. I like how it's lightweight and provides sunblock without breaking out my skin. It does help prime skin for foundation--I've used Smashbox's Photo Finish SPF 15 and found that City Block primes my skin and keeps my makeup on just as well** for 1/3 the cost.

It's not really a tinted moisturizer--I still use a separate moisturizer and will until I find a fantastic all-in-1 tinted moisturizer with SPF. I've moved on from most Clinique skincare items (aside from the fantastic Continuous Rescue moisturizer), but City Block will continue to be a staple in my makeup case.

** just my experience--actual results may vary

Non-irritating, but not 'non-comedogenic' for it contains mineral SPF- which might cause pore-clogging. Although it isn't really mattifying- it doesn't feel heavy nor does it make the skin oily. Recommended.

If there's one product I would NEVER buy again from Clinique, it's the City Block SPF 15. This was the first moisturizer with SPF I bought and I really regreted this purchase.

It was super hard to blend, the smell was really funky (imagine an old Soy milk that went sour, eeeek!) and I had some very bad break outs after a few days/weeks using it. I don't know what could have caused that but I was really disappointed, my skin looked really bad.
I should have return it to the shop but I just abandonned the tube in my bathroom then threw it away without any regrets, except for the price...

I like this lightweight sun protection which is perfect for winter season, not much in summer.
I have combination/sensitive/reactive skin, NC20, I need environmental protection and can’t stand many skincare products.
This City Block is sheer and light, it makes a non-irritant coat, I can easily layer it over my Dr.Hauschka day cream (no SPF) and wear a compact mat foundation over all.
In summer my skin becomes oilier and I could skip the daycream under sunblock, but SPF 15 is not enough for me in the strong summer sun and higher SPF City Block versions are not sold in Italy.

no deja brillos ni rastros blancos, me gusta mucho, sobretodo para el invierno, ya que spf 15 es poco para el verano.

I really like the consistency, light coverage and ease of use of this product. However, CoverGirl Smoothers tinted moisturizers does a very comparable job for much, much less$$$$$$$$$! won't purchase this again.

I was looking for an oil-free daily SPF and moisturizer, I picked this up and am glad to say that it is easily the best of those I have tried and my oily, breakout-prone skin loves it. I apply this in the morning after cleanser and toner, the texture is creamy and easy to work with, and sinks in expectionally quickly. It serves as a great base for makeup, does not leave residue and doesn't leave my skin sticky or overly shiny. The scent is great, despite being a perfume-free product (as these type of products tend to reek of their ingredients), City Block Sheer smells slightly like coconut butter. This is a repurchase (in fact, I have already) - probably my favorite Clinique product and one of my favorite skincare products overall.

Most Clinique products work well on my skin, but most SPFs don't. This particular lotion made me break out so I had to return it.

I want to like this product, I really do (so much that I continue to buy it even though I've always had mixed results with it) but it will never be an absolute staple to my skincare arsenal.
I love that it's a chemical-free SPF 15, that it's fragrance-free but still has this wonderful butter-rich aroma, that it's got several good antioxidants within the formula, that the packaging protects the formula from air and light, and that the iron oxides keep it from leaving a whitish cast on the skin like many other chemical-free SPFs.
What I don't like is that I can always see the product on my skin regardless of how well I blend it (I have combination skin with rosacea and a very uneven texture regardless of what topical treatments I use), that it has a tendency to flake off my face as I rub it in, that it is especially difficult to blend around the eye area (I prefer to pat a product around my eyes rather than tug or rub this delicate skin), and that it never looks good over areas that I shave (I'm a male) and I have to use a separate, avobenzone-based SPF over those areas in order to have truly invisible SPF protection.
So I will pretty much always have a tube of this in my bathroom and periodically give it another try, hoping all its strengths will eventualy outweigh its shortcomings. Maybe one day they will...

I got a sample size of this for free, and after initial use I say I like it. I have very very pale skin and it truly is sheer on me, despite being colored coming out of the tube. My skin feels really nice and smooth. The product absorbs quickly and doesn't leave me feeling greasy, or shiny either. In fact it reduces shine. Marvelous!

My all-time fav! I use it every day, and this summer I usually stay in door so SPF15 is enough for sun protection. I used to compare this and the SPF25 on my hands, and just after 2 minutes the one with SPF15 turned more toned than the SPF25 one so I always stick to this. Now they have a new SPF40, I really want to try that one when I'm going out door activities, heard a lot of good things about it.

I generally don't use Clinque products, but this one was on discount at Off Saks and so I decided to try it. I very rarely wear foundation, so it was nice to have a bit of color (it has a greenish tinge, but oddly works well on my skin) and protection on top of my daily moisturizer. I also like that the tube is small (1.4 oz), so I can throw it in my purse. My only concern is that it's end-of-winter/spring here and I'm afraid that when the heat is really turned on next month this product may feel too heavy.

This should be treated not as a moisturiser, but as a block. Oily skins should not need a moisturiser underneath though. I followed this rule and looked very healthy with the "golden" shade, which is the medium one, although I'm actually very fair and never tan. I'm not sure if it broke me out in the chin, because I only wore it during the summer and my skin is usually worse then...

I was really excited to try this product, but it broke me out... and it was too oily for my already oily complexion. But it does have spf 15 - and I think it would be great for normal skin.
